The event was moderated by Dan Chițoiu and John Farina, co-founders of the ISVS Institute. The Seminar was made possible by the generous support of Professor John Farina. Recent global developments have given rise to questions that will seek answers in three days of debates, supported by university teachers from countries such as the USA, Great Britain, Poland, the Philippines and, of course, Romania. Among the discussed topics: What is new in the forms that recent nationalisms take?; What are the limits of liberalism?; What are the limitations of the postmodern critique of Modernity?; What is the role of trans-nationalism?; Can the sources of the present situation to be found in the intellectual history of Europe and the United States?
